Sites just south of Tours?

Hi

I'm looking for a recommended site for an overnight stop just south of Tours. We will be travelling from Caen to the Dordogne and want to break the journey, so need the site to be quite near the main road. A Camping Municipale would be fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Alistaire, There is a very good municipal at Ste Maure de Touraine which is on the A10 approx 30 km south of Tours, within 1km of junction 25 of the A10. It is easy to find being sign posted from all routes and is perfect for a night halt.

Alistair, It is a fairly large site, 60 pitches or so. We stopped there about 8th August and there were loads of vacant pitches, it being a popular night halt. I don't think there is any neccesity to book, I never have for night halts. Ray
