I am planning to take our snail to france in September. We have most things sorted but on our return journey we need an overnight stop close to St Malo so we can catch the ferry the following day. I have found a few in various books but there is nothing better than a personal recommendation

We stayed at Domaine de la Villa Huchet, it is Alan Rogers recommended. Just on the outside of St. Malo, about 10 minute drive to Ferry, it has an indoor swimming pool and is based around an old Manor House. They have a Bar & Creperie and entertainment for children, based on Pirates. There is a bus stop 400metres away for taking you into the town. It has generous sized pitches with 6 amp electrics. We were very happy with the site and no problem in recommending it.
