Sites open in winter

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me where I can get a list of sites and overnight stops that are open in January in France and Spain.

Most of the sites in the CC Guide seem to open around April,

Thanks EofS for the link. Otherwise I fear you just have to get CC Europe Volume 1 and follow all the red dots on the map. Also read the adds in CCmag (and others) e.g a site at heric between Rennes and Nantes which is not in CCEurope for 2004.

For the west coast route, there are OAY sites at Pons, Dax, Bayonne and then Catalyud, Manzanera as you go across to the Med.

I understand your problem. You are correct, most sites are not open in France during the winter.

The CC Europe directory is good for finding sites.

I find that it is good to travel to the West of Paris and usually stop at Camping Futuriste near Poitiers.
