Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi Estate-Towcar?

I am thinking about buying a Skoda Octavia 1.9 Tdi Diesel Estate -105 bhp.

My caravan weighs in at less than 850 kgs.

Will this car be able to tow it easily or should I go for something a bit more powerful like the 140 bhp version?

With that weight of caravan 105bhp should be ample. I towed 1300kg with 90bhp for almost 10 years and had no trouble in keeping up with the traffic.

Hello Morganic,

Ive got a skoda fabia estate 1.9 tdi 105bhp and it pulls my van(999kgs MIRO)easily,no problems.
