Has anyone any views on a sleeping annexe at the side of caravan awnings? good or bad please. At the moment my wife and I use a small pup tent, (our love nest), inside the awning when we take our family with us, the annexe would give us a little more room also.

Tony,

Bedroom annexes are fine and leave the rest of the awning free. If you have the option get the tall one.

I use one at each end, one for the grandson and one for my fishing tackle!

My daughter sleeps in a bedroom annexe, it is her own little domain whilst we are away. It also leaves much more room in the rest of the awning

Tony,

Best thing I ever bought (apart from the van obviously) we use two for our three kids, girls in one my son in the other. The kids love em. With the inner tents you can fit a double air bed in with ease. They free up so much space in the van and awning too, cant recommend them enough.

We used an awning inner tent for many years when the kids were small. We preferred this to the pup tnet outside the unit. Admittedly it did take up about 1/4 of the awning space, but is purpose made to hang from the exising awning roof poles. A happy medium if you don't want to use it too often - and cheap?

we have just bought a tall annex for our awning for our eldest it has given us a lot more space and some privacy as it is not much fun sharing a caravan with a 15 year old.
