I think I probably put this on the wrong forum so I'll try my luck here:

We have a Swift challenger 500SE fixed bed. The second part of the bedroom sliding door has come away from the screws on the roller. When we pull the door the first part comes out but not the second. The screw holes are now so big the door wont stay attached. Can we repair ourselves (we can't work out how to take the door off)?

I had the same problem on my 1998 swift 5 berth. My little girl kicked the door in her sleep.

After much looking I figured that the doors are built into the van at a very early stage and there is no way to remove them other than to take a pair of pliers to the rail and bend it so that the runner slot is wide enough so that the doors can be slid out of it.

With the doors removed it was a case of filling the screw holes with epoxy glue, waiting for it to set then re-drilling small holes so that the runners could be screwed in again tightly. I then re-hung the doors by easing them through the widened rail before finally bending the rail back with the pliers.

Sounds heath robinson but I could not figure another way of doing it & it has been fine ever since.
