Slovenia for a change??

sorry all, 1st post timed out

Having covered just about every part of France over the last 17 years of touring we have decided to travel to Slovenia this year. Route will be with 2 stop overs, Rudesheim am Rheine and Donau-Lech in Germany followed by 13 nights at "Camping Bled" in Slovenia. Would appreciate any feedback (positive or negative)from readers who have visited this area over the last 3 or 4 years

Thanks

beuatiful country, yet unspoiled, and an excellent site. There is much to see in Slovenia, the people are friendly to the extreme altho' you may struggle with language outside Bled and the larger villages. Shopping in Bled, which is walkable from the campsite but a shop and retaurant on site. Fuel also avalailable in Bled. You must visit the island in the middle of Lake Bled and the castle. Also, if it is your thing, it is mine, excellent trout fishing in the rivers and I am told good coarse fishing in the Lake. You will not be disappointed.

Dont forget to get your vignett when you go over the border into Slovenia E35 euros. Also for Austria if you are going thro it

Slovenia is very good it is not only Lake Bled, the site in llubljana is very good but not as good as Ptju which has several pools and free wifi. See here www.gandm.eu
