solar power

I would be anxious to hear from someone with ideas about solar powered lighting. I want to light the underside of my gazebo and what better way than with solar power (cheap), if this is possible. I would prefer if I could light a string of low watt bulbs from this source. I've seen those garden lights and its this that has given me the idea, but I dont think they would be enough. Camping supplies only stare at me in wonder. Help if you can, please.

Hi David,

There are low voltage lights specificaly made for gazebos and parasols now. Try www.towsure.com.

David, You will need a battery too - the solar panel will charge the battery buring the day, the battery will light the lights after dark. Choose a suitable size panel and battery, Caravan/camping shops sell fluourescent lights to clip onto tent poles, these will clip onto your gazebo.
