If you are CC members you cna search their website for CL's which are adults only. You can also add to the search EHU, public transport, pubs, fishing etc.

Hi John
We live in Somerset have toured quiet a lot in Somerset & Devon,
Have a look at C&CC sites at Damage Barton, Lynton, Tavistock (South Devon)
Also register with BOB (best of british) you receive a discount card to use in numerous sites.
http://www.bob.org.uk/directory/parks/find
http://www.millfarm.biz/campsite - Bridgwater (Although this does cater for kids) but stayed here last year on a rally in july and not many kids around as before schools broke up.
It depends on where you would like to stay ie., coastal or inland?
Hope this helps will try and think of a few more for you

Just come back from a lovely week at Hidden Valley near Braunton (and woolacombe and Ilfracombe). It isn't Adults only, but we were there at half term and whilst there were children there it was still quiet. We will go back again.

Hi John
Cheddar Mendip Heights may be good choice, obviously on the edge of Cheddar, ideal for getting to Glastonbury and surronding area, approximately an hour away from Bath.
Alternately there is the http://www.bathchewvalley.co.uk/ which was the top site in Practical Caravan top site awards, its also adult only so will be no ankle biters around. Ideally situated for touring somerset, not far from Cheddar, Glastonbury, Longleat, Bath, Bristol and many many more.
Let me know if you would like more info, as you can probably guess we live in the area so happy to share knowledge

Hi John, when I did my drive last year I used Lemonford for storage, found the owners most helpful (dont think they have been there long) barrier entrance with Large motorhomes on the right as you enter looked like they were seasonal the site looked pretty good to me infact if it was a bit further from home think I would have had a weekend there, (only about 2 miles)
Now then John along the road towards Newton abbot there is a pub called the Dartmoor Halfway, they have a small site behind and is quite popular, this used to be my regular fortnightly Sunday evening meal out, NOT any more the food has gone down hill rapidly since the new owners took over. They may of course changed the chef by now but I dont know, Delhi Dave a forum member has stayed there in the past.
If you go to Paignton take the ferry across to Dartmouth, drive back Through Totnes (man there's some weird hippy people there)
From Totnes take the Newton Abbot road and eat here Pig and Whistle you may have to book though, we have to even on a Sunday night.
If there is any thing else I can help you with in the area, just let me know.

Thats brilliant news for both you and Andy, I say we are trying for the 4th as we were intending to take in our first rally with the CCC but its from the 5th anyway!! This depends on grandson seeing his dad that weeekend!!!!
Like the idea of the beer, will see what can be done. If the above fails we might join you for the weekend-- ha ha
