Sorento Recall

I own a 58 plate Sorento XS. I received a call from my Kia dealer yesterday asking me to book my car in for work to be done under recall. I was told it would take half a day. I asked what was the problem but was told they did not know but kia had told them to contact owners.
Has anyone got any information on this.

No idea what the recall is but I doubt it’s safety critical as it’s not listed on the VOSA recall web site.

I have no idear what the recall is all about but, if you are concerned I would contact the dealer again and ask them, if they are unable to tell you for what ever reason them you could contact Kia customer services.
 
I could not reply before as we have been away with van and no wifi or dongle connection. I telephoned Kia and they tell me it is an upgrade to Turbo software to increase performance of turbo. I asked. I asked at their cost, answer Yes.
