I am thinking of going to South Brittany and was wondering if anybody could recommend a good caravan site. Looking for one that can cater for families with children 11 and under. With good choice of facilities.

There was always plenty of entertainment and pony riding etc for the kids and the pitches were all mature and well screened even then and it is a short walk to the beach.
Carnac is busy at night time with loads to see and entertain the kids if you just want to wander out from the site. And the port at La Trinite sur Mer is just along the road as well.
We liked Camping de la Baie at La Trinite. Right beside the lovely beach and ideal for kids like the age yours are. There is a website but I have lost it but there are a couple of sites with the same address
Hi Ian - La Grande Metairie near Carnac served our family well on several occasions a few years ago. We have been with 10/11 year olds and when they were 18/19. Had a superb time on all occasions. Excellent facilities and pitches tend to be large - some huge! Some have water/waste hook ups also. would definitely recommend. About 2/3 miles from a decent beach.
