can anybody out there help. my new van has a aks2004 hitch and stabeliser. i have a freelander 4x4. it is very difficult to hitch up. i thought i might fit a spacer but my local dealer told me "it is not recomended to fit spacers on 4x4s" has anyboby heard of this? and why?. also what esle can i do to make hitching up eaiser. many thanks. geoff.
 
Hi, we had the same problem with our frontera, we solved it by fitting a winterhoff stabilizer, they allow more clearance.
