Judging by the regular reports of people being scammed and the size of the population, there will be a sufficient number of people who will read and think they're valid.
As an aside.... It seems the Admins are filtering them out so that they don't appear directly in the forum. However they now appear in our approvals list and we have to flag each one separately as Spam Clean. This morning's count was 20.
