Spanish Campsites

Hi

We are thinking of going to Spain this year Can anyone suggest a good site. We want a taste of real Spain not the English Spain!! by the coast would be nice or even a lake We will be driving through France from Calais in early June for three weeks Holiday.

Thanks

If you are prepared to tow down to the very south, go to the Costa del Luz - the stretch west of Gibralter.

There's a great site right by the beach near Chipiona and you'll probably be surrounded by Spanish people and see very few English.

Camping Playa Aguadulce - between Chipiona and Rota.

There's quite a nice site near Tarifa - good for kites and windsurfing because it's a windy stretch of coast.

NB Spanish family sites are busy and can be noisy till late at night at weekends and in the high season. Mid week off-season it'll be VERY quiet.

Or stay on the coast and away from the resorts the site we stay on is in the costa brava but very few britts use it lots of dutch and a few germans so its ideal its a very big site tho with everything u could want

Juan has said it. If you want real Spain stay inland and off the main tourist routes. All the Costas are so British you never need say a word of Spanish. Still nice though , but don't expect anything very different.
