Good Morning all,

I have a swift challenger 625se ,a few weeks ago i had my grandchild stay over in the caravan with us for her first caravan experience , so i made up the bunk beds for her.

My question is this, what are the spare cushions i have stored under the bed? i thought at first these were for the single bunk beds but they are an odd size and very thick and the top bunk seems to use the thinner ones which are also stored under the fixed bed.

These cushions look factory made and seem original but for the life of me i have no idea what they are for. I will post some pics when i next have the caravan out.

Just thought i would ask in case some other swift owner knows what i am on about .

Thanks,

Brian.

Just a guess.. If you have a central chest, do they fill the gap if the chest is removed?

When I had a five berth with multi configuration rear end the owners manual gave no information whatsoever. So I searched the web for vans on sale or reviewed until I came across a site where I could see how it all fitted together and where the cushions went for each layout.

I do wonder if they are something a previous owner had made up for some specific purpose which is not obvious to us. Possibly the thinner cushions were not satisfactory and these were purpose made to cover that although I would have thought they would then have fitted the bed. .
