I’ve just looked at a glamping pod for 4 nights mid June. £80 total which is very reasonable compared to what some sites are charging. Less hassle than erecting a tent, fridge etc and no packing up.This may be of interest to some. We’ve been there and enjoyed the place.

We had a previous Woosiefest there.I’ve just looked at a glamping pod for 4 nights mid June. £80 total which is very reasonable compared to what some sites are charging. Less hassle than erecting a tent, fridge etc and no packing up.
About the same as CAMC sites then 🙄Their touring pitches are eye watering expensive at £36 per night and they are not even FSP!
That’s another reason we have been using CLs mostly for the last five years. Also a lot of non Club sites with FSP, pitch chosen in advance, are cheaper than CAMC.Their touring pitches are eye watering expensive at £36 per night and they are not even FSP!
No idea as not used a CAMC site for many years.About the same as CAMC sites then 🙄
Same here, most of the club main sites do not interest us, and as for going to club sites in Europe, best to just do your own thing. No idea as not used a CAMC site for many years.
Prior to us departing on our first trip to the continent we looked at their special "newbie" trips and the cost was more than eye watering high so decided to hit out on our own.Same here, most of the club main sites do not interest us, and as for going to club sites in Europe, best to just do your own thing.
We have not been ACSI members since about 2020/2021 when Covid hit and we saw no point in renewing so no idea how UK sites are ACSI and whether the rates are good or bad.I joined ACSI, as we were going to France every 12 weeks for 4 weeks, and towards the start and end of the French season, you could get great savings.
I haven't looked recently but there are great sites in the UK that do ACSI deals.
Cheaper than some CAMC sites!About the same as CAMC sites then 🙄
I look at a glamping pod price for mid sept 4 nights for £80 very reasonable priceThis may be of interest to some. We’ve been there and enjoyed the place.

That £36 pn was for the low season however for High season in August it is £31.50 per night based on 2 adults and a dog! Go figure!Their touring pitches are eye watering expensive at £36 per night and they are not even FSP!
I don’t think that it would meet your idea of a Glamping Pod, more a Wooden Tent with some additions, but still a reasonable price compared to some tent pitchesI look at a glamping pod price for mid sept 4 nights for £80 very reasonable price
