Thanks for your contribution Dave. I don't think that this is a 'very tired subject' for anyone who has been humiliated on this very forum for their grammar skills. The whole purpose of this thread is stated in my original post, paragraph three. I now acknowledge that my request in paragraph four probably won't happen.

My excuse for my standard of English grammer is that Welsh is my mother tongue and English is a second language - anybody out there fluent in the medium of Welsh can fully understand where I am coming from - lets start a Welsh forum - that will baffle quite a few people.

I find it strange that Dave has pulled up Yvonne on her punctuation and grammar and since then has twice made it clear that he finds the subject boring. What I don't understand is this, under Chit Chat the subject, started by Lisa, is "Spelling - quite annoyed" yet for all Daves moaning he still keeps logging into this thread to read it. How weird. Whilst sat on my throne this morning philosophising (which I do at a regular time every day) I could only come to the conclusion that Dave is doing it to wind people up. I recall another person on this forum who was quite accomplished at doing the same thing. From the evidence put before His Windyship I therefore dedeuce that Dave is no other than the infamous Daventura :O) hehhheh!

Lord B. were you by any chance the foreman of the jury? On my last stint of jury service I ended up in that role on two occassions - thank God the verdict in both cases was not guilty or I would have had to go into hiding as a marked man.

It would appear that since I have returned the gremlins are coming out of the woodwork again. Honest now it is NOT me - I can sleep well with a clear mind. Have I got this personality that attracts this type of response - I think I will go down the road and sign myself in to the local mental hospital for some sanity.
