I Know its been covered before but cant seem to find it on Forum!
Bought Abbey Stafford 1995 last April used it twice and came back with a squeak on offside. Had full service and mentioned squeak to mobile engineer, say's not much you can do, asked him to check brakes, drums etc.(which I thought would be in service anyway). Still had SQUEAK called him back because I knew he had'nt even bothered to take the wheels off (I did the night before his arrival and marked the one shot nut's !!!!)Should have seen his face, wont be using him again. He did however take them off and serviced them on this second visit.
Did two further outings last year and came back yesterday after the Easter break, But the dreaded squeak remains.
The squeak is heard at slow speeds and sometimes on braking, also at slow speeds. Not sure about higher speeds.
Should I have the pads, drums etc completly replaced or does anyone know of a simple solution.
Please help, apart fron the embarrassing drives through caravan sites its driving me potty!!
