Squeeking floor

Hi all, we have a squeeky floor as you walk into the bathroom, the van is a Bailey Pageant Champagne 2005. There is no soft parts on the floor as I have read if the floor is delaminating. Before I start trying to resolve I thought best to ask for advice.

Many thanks.

Have a look at all the screws around the area the squeek is, I expect you will find one is not quite tight, give it a tweek and the noise may go

Agree with Martin our 2005 S5 had a similar issue around the cooker fridge area and it was a fastener that needed nipping up.

when we had a bailey Vermont the floor squeaked and I found that a mounting bolt under the van was loose a quick *** up and problem solved.... malc

Take care when tightening down fixing screws into the floor. The floor is probably a sandwich with 6mm ply top and bottom and foam in between. This means you have only about one pitch of the screw actually doing anything, and if you over tighten you cane easily strip out the hole. Not too easy to do a good repair afterwards.
