Sssshhhhh, is that Spring

knocking on the door today?

The pond pump/filter/UV light are on for the first time.

The van has been washed and inspected for damage over the last three months.

I haven't gone anywhere near the gas fire and I'm sitting here in a Tee shirt with the windows open.

Not touched the BBQ yet, that might be tempting fate, but it should be good for another years use 😱)

Anyone else making good use of the upturn in weather?

Woke up early this morning to glorious sunshine - by 10:00am the skies opened and it was chucking it down and has rained ever since. I think we can blame this bad weather on the Government - they have made a mess of everything else so might just as well take the blame for the weather as well.

The weather's been great here today but it's just started raining.

Got the van out of storage yesterday, washed it today and put everything back in ready for the road.

Just one snag, when I went to pick it up the padlock on the hitchlock had seized, I couldn't shift it, it's one of those circular padlocks that you can't cut off.

I borrowed a hacksaw from the farmer and it took me about 5 minutes to cut it off!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring has sprung in Norfolk!

Spent the morning cleaning and rinsing the van. This afternoon went for a seven mile walk with dog in the Thetford Forest and was not even carrying a coat. Short sleeved polo shirt only. Even the wind took a rest.Walked through the Dower House Caravan site and can report that it was far from empty. Mayby winter can be 'consined to memory'.

Next time try a Holmatro cutting device, highly recommend them.

Lmao! It's like that here as well, if you don't speak in the local accent your a foreigner! The reason I asked is that our main holiday this year is in Norfolk, Hunstanton to be precise, and wondered if you knew of any little known tourist attractions in the area. You know the sort, journeys down mines or rides in cable cars, touristy but not too touristy.

The current game on the North Norfolk Coast is 'spotting the latest 'celeb' to be cottage hunting, buying, or decorating (from the Pub). Stop it you synical Bas---d. and answer the mans questions.

Hunstanton is a nice area but dificult to advise on as we all like different things. but I will look at some local web sites to see if I can come up with a few gems.Sandringham is a very nice area for walking and safe cycling.

Cheers, you synical b_______d. Oops, I meant Mike. ;o)

At least the area is attracting someone, ours just attracts the local police! I like the idea of spotting them from the pub, must add that one to the book of excuses....

Thanks for having a dig around anyway.
