ST GILLES-CROIX DE VIE

WE ARE TRAVELLING TO ST GILLES FOR THE SUMMER HOLS. WE INTEND TO CROSS TO CAAN AND THEN TRAVEL DOWN TO NANTES. DOES ANYONE KNOW AN EASY ROUTE FROM THERE ACROSS. THANKS ALAN

Alan, if you go to the Michelin website (www.michelin.com) there is an option on the home page to go to 'For All Your Travels'. If you click this you will get directed to their free route planner. Type in your start and your destination and it produces a map with directions.

Caen , Rennes , Nantes , La Roche / sur / yon then follow signs to St Gilles. Mostly dual carriageway / free motorway this way. be careful on the Rennes and Nantes peripherique that you dont miss your junction.the routes fairly easy other than that.

hope this helps

I've printed out 2 routes from the michelin web site one from nantes to st-gilles the other fron nantes to la-roche then st gilles. Going via la-roche is 20 miles longer but much easier thanks for you replies Zbungle & jon
