Hi has any one been this year ? looking to book for August 2 adults 2 5 year olds but cant find many reviews, seams to have dropped of the radar, Thanks

Practical Caravan magazine along with Practical Motorhome usually hold their reraders rallies at this site and the feedback from the rallies was good.
There are reviews of this site on Caravan Sitefinder
I'm not sure if Practical Caravan are holding a readers rally there next year but the rallies represent a bargain break if the extra days are taken with the readers rally.

We stored our van down at stowford for six years,its a fantastic site ,its very big but don't let that put you off.loads for the kids to do on site,seasonal entertainment,pet zoo,play area and swimming pool.it's not exactly on the coast but we found that an advantage because your in short driving range of five or six blue flag beaches,woolacombe,saunton sands,croyde,combe martin and ilfracombe to name a few and you don't seem to catch any traffic getting back to site.
The pitches are large and the views are great,toilet block clean and the staff very friendly,if you hav'nt already booked try and get on field 4 between numbers 702 and 721 ,their level and theres a small wall at the back of you so you've only got neighbours to your sides,it is the furthest field from the shop,clubs and pool but you get less people coming passed late at night and waking the kids!!!!!!
one word of warning, you are close to exmoor so the weather can be changable

Hi Dave ,Thanks for the info, will need a level pitch as I have a twin axle makes life easy . going to book when the office opens, as for the weather , we camp in hope !
