Stroud Hill Park

Thinking of staying there for a long weekend break in mid November. The facilities look first class. Any of you had any experience of this sight?

Thanks

John

Stroud Hill is a great site with fantastic facilities. Book a table in the restaurant for Saturday night, it is first class. Sunday lunches are great too so the waistline will suffer but enjoyably.

Golf and tenpin bowling next door but you do wonder where you are going when you head off into the Fens.

Thanks for this. The restaurant certainly sounds tempting. However, we shall meet up with friends and I see that they are 'adult only'. This suggests that they wouldn't be allowed to have a meal with us if their 15 year old daughter came along..?

Anyway; we'll play that one by ear. Thanks again for the recommendation.

we stayed there early in 2005 and thought the facilities were superb. We only had a coffee in the bar but it looked very nice. We need more of these high quality campsites even if they are a bit on the expensive side.

Thanks David; we are booked up and ready to test it out (along with our new eich caravan mover, which I played with over the weekend, taking tha caravan on 'walkees' !!).

I assume you are the David Klyne of Caravan Travels fame ?
