Hello

Last summer we made our first trip abroad (South of France) and were unprepared in some areas. One of these was shade! We saw several outfits with canopy "extensions" attached to the awnings which provided a further shady area out from the awning itself. Are these universal, and can anyone tell me where to get one? If not, then does anyone know where I can get one to fit a Trio Mexico awning?

It might be worth a look at the NR awning website,

We've purchased one of their sun canopies and use it on its' own when we stop just for a couple of days and don't want to put up the full awning. Friends have adapted one with ties and fit it onto the front of their main awning as an extension. We've seen others using one (or similar) on the back of the van to shade that side in very hot weather. Otherwise you might get a canvas company (who do repairs and alterations to awnings) to make you up something special.
