Sun Canopy

With another great summer of weather forecast and after cooking inside the awning last summer we are thinking of buying a Dorema Panorama sun canopy. Anybody currently use this canopy if so what do you think of it?

Yes we have this sun canopy and use it whilst staying in Provence, I must say though we have had quiet a few scarey nights when weve had really heavy rain and its collapsed!! great fun sorting it out though with the help of our Belgium, French and Dutch neighbours on site, were looking to replace it as weve swapped the van and might buy a cheapish full awning, at least then we have the front in case of inclement weather.

We've had one of these canopies for a couple of years now and use it on our 3-month camping trip to Europe (France, Spain Portugal etc).

We've had absolutely no problems and think it marvellous. It's very popular on continental campsites.

One small point - contrary to the previous post, we've had no problems with rain but we always use 'storm guys' (there are attachments on the canopy and,.additionally, we fit a guy rope on the centre pole. This ensures that the canopy doesn't lift during a breezy day.
