Some awnings state that they should be taken down in windy conditions ...

What model and how old / how much use has it had ?

Hi
We had a sun camp awning. Not the air but in my opion their quality is very poor.Think it's a case of you get what you pay for with any awnings.

Interestingly the Sunncamp uses a 150 D Polyester material pretty much the same as the Kampa range.
For those of you into Stockings you will know the D stands for Denier , the weight of the yarn used to make the fabric.
You will see from previous threads my own Kampa Rally Air Pro survived two major storms last year. The leg failed but the fabric remained intact.
The Isabella on the other hand has a material twice the rating of the Sunncamp and Kampa. But it comes with a price tag of £1200+.
To say air ones are rubbish would be very unfair but as an earlier poster said . You pays your money and .....
The discolouration is worrying. Most disappointing the Sunncamp team haven't answered you. What warranty did you receive at time of purchase?

Moderator Edit: I've allowed this thread to remain in the hope that a forum member may be able to offer advice but I've had to delete a part of this comment because it is in breach of Forum Etiquette Rule 4 which states that :' You may not transmit complaints about named companies or caravan parks. Such individual issues should be taken up with the company direct.' This thread is now closed because of the rule breach

Similar to Tommy, we also had a sunncamp porch which we only used fairly sparingly over two summers, when I tried to use it the third year the thing more or less started to disintegrate on touch. Assuming it was uv degradation but was certainly expecting more than two years limited use out of it. Certainly put me off sunncamp products.

Regards to the company's failure to respond, do they have a Facebook page? Never use the thing myself but have read of others in similar circumstances (with other companies) getting a response after posting on Facebook

It's a great shame PC Mag can't step in and use their influence in cases like this. After all agreeing to advertise Suncamp's ware is surely an affirmation that the company meets certain standards.
To not reply is unacceptable today
