Swan Neck Car Plate

Hi All,

I have had a swan neck towbar fitted to my Renault RX4.

I have to fit a Swan Neck Car plate so that I can use my Snakemaster stabilizer.

Has anybody fitted one of these units? It looks simple but there might be some some sort of things to look out for. There was no instruction with the unit, probably the supplier thiks I don't need them

I tried fitting a stabiliser bracket to a couple of Cavaliers with swan neck towbars - neither worked satisfactorily, being too easy to slip because the swan neck is curved or tapered.

I reverted to fitting a bolt-on towball type of towbar.
