Swap between propane and butane - what bits do I need?

Hello,

My caravan has a Truma regulator, as shown the in the photo (1). It also has a propane 'pigtail' connector (photo 2) and is running on propane, no problem.

But, my caravan also has a butane cylinder which I have never used because I don't have the right bits.

To use butane, I reckon I firstly need a butane pigtail but do I also need something to attach to the top of the butane cylinder (photo 3)? Seems like I'm missing some kind of valve to go on the top..?

Could someone please drop a couple of links here so I can see what bits I need to buy so I can start using butane.? Thanks!

Our pig tail's cylinder end is fitted with the left handed thread as used in the UK for the smaller Butane cylinders.
I have adaptors for that pigtail thread that, couple to the POL your propane uses, another that fits the 21mm Clip-on on your Butane cylinder, another for the 27mm Clip-on Gaslights use, a 20mm Clip-on the suits some Continental & other cylinders and somewhere another that adapts to Campingaz 907s.
It offers a very wide base of options, all with the same pigtail.

Ok, thanks. So does the adapter go directly onto the 21mm clip-on for the butane or is there something in between.?
If you can post a link to the adapter you're referring to, that would be great.

The adaptors enable a standard pig tail hose to fit to as many cylinder types as you purchase adaptors to fit. With no adaptor the pig tail will fit a Calor Butane "Dumpy", its that LH standard thread, that the adaptors feature to couple to the pig tail hose

21mm butane clip-on adaptor LINK

With a pig tail hose LINK

A POL Propane adaptor, uses the same pigtail LINK
Seriously recommend for our application you go with this soft nose type with handwheel. rather than a hard type that requires a spanner. Its also "tolerant" to minor scratches in the cylinder's seating, far from unknown.

Examples are only shown to illustrate the concept, I would explore the market.
