Swift Chalanger 570 SE Fixed bed end bathroom

Hi, I am thiking of buying a 2011 Chalanger 570 SE so was looking for some of you guys that own one to let me know good points or bad points of this van?

The challenger 570 is a nice layout, we had a 2010.
if you are considering purchasing a 2011, please make sure that you have a very comprehensive damp test carried out... we own a 2011 swift conquerer and unfortunatley Swift had some serious issues with damp on the 2011 models (we had 40% damp first service and 50% damp second service)
Check out this and other forums regarding the damp situation, if your purchaser can provide detailed reports that any damp has been delt with and you can take on the remainder of the water ingress guarantee...... why not, they really are great looking vans..
you state that it is a 2011 570SE model... i may be mistaken but i thought the SE (Spiecal Equipment) range did not come out until 2012 ??

Thanks for your comments ..the van is advertised as a 570 SE by the dealer and it comes with the panoramic roof plus impala seats so I guess that is the SE bit? the damp problems I was not aware of so will get that checked... I do agree it looks fantastic inside and out so much so that I have jumped in and purchased from Glossop Caravans .. I get the van on the 28th of this month but will check on the damp before then

I strongly advise that you get a damp report before you hand over any cash even if you have to pay for it seperate. If you hand over the cash first getting a dealer to rectify any issues may be a nightmare. Can I also suggest that you do a Google search on Glossop caravans to find any reviews on their after sales service? This will allow you to determine how reputable the company is.
Call me cynical but I would be wondering why someone traded in a 2011 caravan which is less than 2 years old?

we had a 2010 swift 570 purchased new used it 4 times, then made the fatal mistake of takingthe wife to the NEC caravan show, I came out of there 24k lighter and the owner of the new 2011 conqueror 645. So yes there are some looney s like me who trade in new vans...

one thing I would recommend the OP to do is to insist that the manufacturers warranty is transferred to him

So I collected my Chalanger on Sunday with a complete damp report whoich came out all fine ... the van is awsome and I spent all of monday polishing my new baby .... thanks for all the advice I am now a very happy chappy ... BTW Glossop Caravans were very good to deal with
