Swift challenger 2012 how to run boiler on gas?

Hi all, my friend has just bought a swift challenger 2012, with Truma ultra store, he can’t seem to run boiler on gas…..any ideas please?

Has your friend removed the cover on the side of the caravan for the Ultra store. ?

Hi, he’s more concerned with how to work the boiler on gas, he can only see the dial for electric

If he don’t remove the vent cover outside it is not going to run on gas. Also is the gas isolation valve for the heater turned on,as when serviced the engineers often leave them turned off. If he hasn’t got the handbook download on line from the Swift Handbook site entering the year of the caravan manufacture.

The boiler controls on mine (2012) were at the front of the caravan lounge low down towards the rhs on the transverse bulkhead. You could choose between gas or electric. As others have said make sure vent cover is removed, and that gas supply is available.

.....on my Swift Challenger 2012 the gas hot water boiler control switch is on the left of the storage tray at the front of the caravan.
It is near the bottom of the front window near a 3 pin mains socket.
I've never understood the logic of fitting it there.
