Swift Challenger 530 Squeeky Floor

Have just purchased a new 2009 Swift Challenger 530 with end bathroom. Having just spent the first weekend in the new van we are delighted with evry aspect apart from an horrendous squeeky floor near the walk in shower cubicle. Has any one else experienced a similar problem. We will be contacting the dealer in the next day or so but I thought it might be worth checking if anyone has similar experiences.

James,

Your shower screen is rubbing on the upstand of the shower tray we have heard of this issue before. There is a simple fix for this. If you want to email me at aspacey@swiftleisure.co.uk with your details and your chassis number I can provide either you or your dealer with the fix which ever you prefer,

Thanks

Andy

Hi James,

I assume you are a diffent James to the (Challenger James). If you haven't got your van yet it should be okay as we have instigated the fix into production. But it depends when your van was built, ask you dealer to check this for you,

Andy

Hi, Think the van is due for del. on the 10th. March to the dealer, so perhaps it has no been built yet?

Hi we have just taken delivery of a new but 2008 model sterling europa t/a 650. We also have a squeeky floor thinking of it just past the shower cublcle/ wardrobe.

I put it down to settling issues and put it out of my mind but if its already been an issue and if its a simple fix could swift post the details to help all or should I contact direct.

Cheers

John,

Yours is not the same issue as on the 530. Your layout and shower cubicle is very different.

Can you email me a contact number so we can call at a convienient time to find out more,

Thanks

Andy

Just to finish this topic I was contacted by Andy from Swift Leisure, on a Sunday evening, who arranged for a Swift Engineer to contact me on Monday with a possible solution including photographs of the areas of the shower screen which could be causing the problem. I have now arranged for my dealer, Highbridge Caravans to sort the problem out inline with Swift's recommendations. In these days when some of the manufacturers get a lot of adverse comments it is great to actually experience an excellent service from one of the largest manaufacturers - a big thank you Swift
