With my brand new Sterling Solitaire SB now just under 2 months old and still not used my dealer was this week able to tell me that TO DATE they have 14, that's 14 warrenty claims against the caravan, and that's without it being tried.
Well only small things like, stress damage to the fibreglass gel coat (still to be told how and when it gets sorted), new carpets (bindings all faulty), new Cooker door, right down to faulty lights and a toliet roll holder. One would thnk on a near £20k van (with the bits) that Swift could use people with eyes open to inspect the finished products. One wonders what percentage these defects put onto a new van, given there simply are no free meals in this life.
Of course that's all forgetting the costs to me of repeat trips to the dealer some 30+ miles away
The fun of a new caravan. Friends did warn me, sorry guys I will listern next time, if there is one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
