tap come loose in bailey ranger 2005

My tap has come loose in the kitchen of my bailey ranger. I have tried to take out the fridge below but the top wont come out because it looks as though the gas pipes are restricting it.

Has anybody else had this problem and if so how did they get around it , cheers Mike.

I have a Senator 5 Indiana so position of equipment may be different, but I can gain access to tap fixing by removing the top Fridge "Winter Cover" and then access panel from outside.

May not be applicable to your Ranger.

Yes, that's about it. As I recall there was not all that much sealant involved. Just a few screws.

Cheers
A couple of points to take on board if you are doing this yourself. (I presume you are not in warranty with van, otherwise best get dealer to fix this!)

The tap on mine is fixed to work surface with a long brass threaded rod, with washer and nut underneath, I think M12 thread.

Difficult to get spanner on, so I bought a set of metric box spanners from Screwfix Direct, ordered on-line, delivered next day, for around

Thanks again David, I have just done what you said. The tap is now tight but what a fiddley job, I first took off the vent cover then unclipped the next cover then there were 3 self tappers to remove. There wasnt much room to get your spanner in but i managed in the end, thanks again Mike.
