Tar marks

After travelling on a newly tarred road we have some very small tar marks on the front of our caravan - can anyone recommend a product which will remove these without causing damage to the 'van?

I was told to use some butter.

Haven't tried it myself yet though.

Butter, as Alexander says, or olive oil. Then wash off thoroughly.

use Autoglym tar remover great stuff inside or out

Many thanks to all who responded so promptly to "tar marks" I used the Autoglym tar remover- it worked a treat and so easy to use.

We are off to Beechwood Grange, York, on Friday (our first trip this year)... with a glistening caravan!!
