TEMPORARY CHANGE FROM CALOR TO CAMPING GAZ

Hi,

Can any one help by telling me the easiest and best way of hooking Camping Gaz up to a Calor propane wall mounted regulator and flexable tank connector.(Avondale) I just want to be able to use it if I run out of Calor on a long Spanish trip

Wayne, the easiest way is to get a butane pigtail and a camping gaz adaptor.

You will have to change the Propane pigtail as nothing is made to adapt to that end fitting.

Thanks, presumably by Pigtail you are refering to the Male connector to the Calor Cylinder?

sorry forgot. Will the fitted regulator still work if changing from Calor Propane to Butane Camping Gaz

Wayne the "pig tail" is the hose that connects your regulator to the calor gas bottle, you can buy another to fit camping gaz from any caravan dealer. take a couple of spanners with you and the change over takes a couple of minutes.

I think I`m right in saying the bulkhead fitted regulator is suited to any type of bottled gas.
