Temporary Goodbye

Solong you bunch of caravan forum contributers. My wife, daughter, grand children and self are going to Benodet sailing Friday morning from Plymouth. Away for twelve whole days. FANTASTIC. Be in touch when we return as I have no intention of having any form of internet or satelite TV connections at all - intend to enjoy myself and relax.

Sounds like a good holiday

I do not miss Internet Or Tv when away from home its nice to get a break from it

Have a safe journey

Rita

Bon Voyage sunshine

Are there any restrictions this time regarding taking dairy/meat products abroad with the foot and mouth outbreak? Last time there was an outbreak, without realising, we had a fridge full of bacon, meat, butter, cheese and eggs and went to Benodet - no problems just sailed though customs without even looking at the passports.

colwn ap brydgynd, ewe must be baaaaarkin' mad if ewe intend smuggling your pet sheep into France. Ewe cannot pull the wool over French Customs eyes that easily, besides, the French are renowned for eating anything that moves so what would ewe do then when you have no woolly jumper to cuddle up to in bed?

Incidently Lord B. I hope your milkmaids are fully protected against catching or spreading the disease around the Hereford district as those Hereford Blacks are a damn good feed.

Colin - have a great holiday - and hope the weather stays kind for you.

We're away a week later - and looking forward to a complete break from computers! I've never found the need to find an internet cafe on holiday - though did enjoy the contact with my son from one at the top of a volcano in Indonesia somewhere!

Whey hey I am back loud and clear. Had a great time at Benodet and the ferry crossing both ways were very calm. The down side is having to return home to reality. Hope you all have had a good holiday break and are now refreshed for the year ahead.
