terrano help asked for

We have a Nissan Terrono 2.7 (2003) and it is playing up. The management lamp is on and it "chugs" according to she who drives it.

The fault code has been read with a special reader and it is 2006 which I have been told relates to a high resistance fault with the "first Fuel Shut Off Valve"

What is it, where is it and how musc is it going to cost?

Help or advice please.

hello salad dodger,i presume its a terrano 2,fitted with a kiki rotory pump, non EDC-still fitted with throttle cable.the "first fuel shut of valve"is the stop solinoid that fits in to the case of the pump from the outside.but high resistance could point to damaged wiring or dirty connections.not the end of the world, kiki pumps are renowed for being bombproof.i deal with a company in stoke called dales diesel services.extremly helpful, will gladly talk over the phone, might be worth the price of a phone call. seth
