This is the bit you should have read before trying to post:
Welcome to the Practical Caravan forum.
Internet Explorer is not compatible with some internet websites and forums. This is because Microsoft Internet Explorer does not automatically update in the way that other web browsers do.
If your comments fail to load onto the forum page your will need to activate your IE compatibility mode for this website.
To do this:

1) Click on Tools (The tools icon may be shown in the form of a wheel)

2) From the drop down box which appears click on Compatibility Settings from the
Compatibility View menu.

3) In the dialogue box which will open from Compatibility Settings type
practicalcaravan.com into the 'Add this website' box

4) Click the 'Add' button

The full instructions with graphics etc can be viewed Here

The new version of Internet Explorer 9 uses a simple compatibility view icon which turns on compatibility view at the click of a mouse. Click Here for instructions for the latest version of IE9

Another issue is using Microsoft Word or Wordpad to pre-edit text before posting it onto the forum. Although you can't see it, using word processing software embeds a lot of hidden information in the copy and this in turn can cause posts to become invisible to other users. If you want to pre-edit your words, please use Notepad as this doesn't embed funny stuff in the words!

I have been assured that a permanent fix is being prepared, but until then, these steps will allow you to keep enjoying the site

Update: (Thanks to Sprocket

Has your PC done some recent updates ?
It will need the compatibility view mode re-setting for when you are using Internet Explorer.
When Internet Explorer senses a compatibility issue you'll see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar.
It will turn blue when in use.
