We started the trip we've just returned from with 6 nights at The Hawthorne and what a marvellous site it is.

It's easy to think of Oldham as a run down old mill town but the site is a little oasis. There are country walks nearby and buses into town a short walk in both directions plus a pub just across the road.

The owners, Steve & Julie, are very friendly and helpful and have made a great job of what they call a work in progress.

Thoroughly recommended.

Hi Graham,
Really pleased that you had such a great experience staying at this Nightstop. Would you mind if we mentioned this in the magazine as a short letter?

Best wishes, Stacie

Stacie, it might be worth featuring Graham's website (see his signature) in the mag too. He's put a lot of work in over the years, collating information about places where motorhomers can (and can't) park, and/or stay overnight. At times he's been frustrated by people lifting his work and passing it off as their own, but I think he'd be very happy for you to point readers to his site.
Correct me if I'm wrong Graham!
