The Lodge Trust CL/CS in Rutland

We have stayed on this site on 2 occasions. It was a CS site, but may have changed 'loyalties'.

It is a nice, clean site, a short walk from a very pretty little village, and about 5 miles out of Oakham.

HOWEVER, you need to be aware that there is a RAF base a couple of miles down the road, and they obviously train pilots from there, as the planes are taking off and landing on a regular basis. I believe this is just in the week, as the first time we stayed here was a BH weekend, and there was no aircraft noise whatsoever.

I believe the Trust is in aid of adults with learning difficulties.

All in all, a pleasant little site.
