Thetford C250 toilet

The toilet would not stop flushing and we had the circuit board changed and it now works but the red light flashes. The reed at the back of the toilet compartment has also been changed but the light still flashes. The instruction book says that this means the cassette is not in the correct position. I do not see how it cannot be in the correct position as it just slides in as it has for the last many years.

Any one any ideas ?

Hi
Just a thought.
Could there be a sensor inside the cassette that has been displaced or stuck in a certain position?
There is an earlier post on this page reference cassette sensors

Foggydave,Thanks for the reply
I had thought of that but as the cassette is fairly new, about 6 months old, and I only gently swish the cassette when emptying it I do not think that is the problem but I will check the float in the cassette.

I have e mailed Thetford and am waiting for a reply to see if they have any ideas

Post removed as it was a direct copy of a post about the Carver cascade drain plug.
Nothing to do with the tThetford Cassette.

As the post was a copy directly from another part of the forum the user has been banned as it appears they are simply a troll
