Thetford c260 problem

Hi guys I’m new to this site could any one help I have a thetford c260 toilet I’ve fitted a new pcb the bit under the push button but still not working fuse is ok the pump was working intermittently running on its own ??

Hi Paul and welcome. Very clear that you have an electrical fault. Without testing the circuitry with a multi meter I could only guess where. Faulty pump, poor connection, even the new pub may be faulty.

I admit to being confused with.

“the pump was working intermittently running on its own ??”

Is that was or is, what is happening now?

If PCB partially failed it was probably due to corrosion which resulted in it working intermittently. There is a possibility that some connections are also corroded and need cleaning.

Paul, you say the fuse is ok. But how are the contacts. The fuse as you know sits at the back of the cassette compartment in a very hostile environment. I suggest you remove the fuse , clean the fuse holder contacts with emery paper or similar. Liberally spray with electric contact spray, two applications over 10 minutes, fit new fuse and fingers crossed.
