My cooker has 3 rings, burners, but bottom right doesn't work. Is this a easy fix? If so how do I go about it? Or a specialist job? Going away shortly, so will it be safe just to use the other 2 rings.

Are you getting a spark? Can you hear if gas is coming through?

Assuming you have tried to light it with a match, then perhaps gas is not getting through.

Remove the grill. Then the blacktop, then lift off the flame distributer.

You should now be able to unscrew the jet and clean it. But don't use anything too viscious as you do not want to open the hole.

With the jet out, turn on the gas tap momentarily in order to check it is getting through to there. This might also blow out any detritus.

On replacement do not overtghten the jet and make sure the gas is cleared before lighting again.

Getting spark, tried to light with match, no good. Removed gas nozzle from top, not blocked. How the l do you remove grill?
Sorry, I should have been clearer. By ‘grill’, I meant the wire pan rest. You obviously removed it.

When the nozzle or jet was out. Did you try getting gas through? If it was not flowing, the problem might be with the control valve.

Any possibility there is moisture in the ‘well’ where the gas jet is sited? This has happened to me on my rectangular 3 ring hob. Once the pan rest and the elements of the hob have been removed a dry with kitchen towel has corrected the problem.
