Here is a peculiar one. Brand new Coachman first outing, fridge on mains supply, no problems, then a couple of days in, early one morning fridge display starts flashing showing error 10. Error 10 is no 230v supply. So check mains tripped etc all ok, switch over to gas all hunky dory, switch back error 10 again, back on to gas and thinks to himself trip back to dealer on return.
Anyway after about 30 mins decides to have another go, put fridge back on to mains and heyho all worked as normal has been ever since.
Anyone have any thoughts because I am bamboozled.

Double check your instruction's my Thetford Fridge error 10 is no 12v supply, ie; battery not charging as not plugged into car or engine off.
Good luck

Simon, on My Coachman 560, 2013, it sometime does the same, make sure its set to Mains power not Auto and try a restart, this normally works, if not switch off from all power for 5 minutes and start all over again. Use the coachman book for the fridge not the thetford one. Code 10 definatley 240volts failure. Once its running change to Auto.

Fault code 10 varies according to the age of the fridge. The N + 3 digit series is 'No engine running' ; The N + 4 digit series is 'No 230v'

These modern devices all use chips and chips means nonsense. Like when a computer goes haywire switch off and on. If that doesn't work switch off for 20 mins and then on again. (It takes 20 mins for some memories to clear.) If that doesn't work try disconnecting the battery and reconnecting. (All sensors work on 12 volts and often some aren't switched through the on off button. ) I have met a similar problem with modern heating systems in two vans.

Waffler, I had the same problems on our BiG helicopters S92's just big flying computers, once fired up,ok, but If a computer doesnt connect with another one, shut everything down and wait a bit and restart. Same in the caravan today as the gas ran out. Changed gas bottle and , fridge heating , all working again. Chips and bits. Happy hollidays to all. Safe towing.

If you are on a site with a poor power supply and lots of ther units at high demand times the power can drop and go out of range of the fridge.

Last trip I had problems running ours on 12V for the trip home. Car was running and I tried switching it on/off you name it. I'm wondering now if I didn't leave it off for sufficient time reading some of the replies here. We were running it on electric on site no problem. It worked fine on 12V last trip last autumn. The van is a Coachman VIP 575/4 2015.
