We have a 2005 abbey caravan with a thetford C200 loo. Each time I removed the waist tank there was liquid on top. the only way it could get there was past the seal. I fitted a new seal but that did not cure it. It went in for a service I reported the problem saying I had fitted a new seal. When we collected the van they said we have fitted a new seal and it is ok now all I could do was try it. We went away and yes it still leaked. Dealer at this point was 300 miles away. I cut two strips of self addesive laminate floor tile about 1/12" wide and about 24" long and with the waist tank out I stuck them to the the bottom of the opening where the tank slides in to raise the waist tank up slightly when it was put back in. It has been ok for 12 months now. (fingers crossed) hope this helps some of you if it is the same problem. Good luck.Hi, have had the same concern on more than 1 caravan. We now crack the drain open when having a pee, problem gone. Seems the seal between the housing and the cassette cannot take any pressure at all.
