Thinking of crossing to the other side

We've been motorhomers for decades. Spent 6+ years travelling full time around Europe. We are now Greek residents and keep our motorhome in the UK. For the last 3 years we travel back to pick it up and go on a 3-5 month trip. It's really useful to have to stay in when we want to be near family.

But we now want to do long haul trips and it feels like the time to sell the motorhome.

So we are thinking of buying a touring caravan and leaving it on a farm to use as a UK base and some limited touring. We do not want a static!

Do suggest makes and models we could look at. Current car is an (ancient) C220 Merc with a kerb weight of 1800

Thinking

- fixed bed

- no bunk beds

- good reputation for no damp or water ingress

- prefer Alde wet heating

- prefer not to walk on shower tray to get to the toilet.

Thank you for your input

Depends on your budget. We have an Adria Seine with fixed single beds, we find the double beds too small. Shower is not in the toilet. Had an Adria MH before and like the quality. Good luck and welcome.
