Tiverton

We were going to spend one night in the CC club site in Tiverton.But reading about the area it sounds lovely.canal walks,beautiful village, and so on.We are thinking of staying for a couple of night.What do u think.Anybody visit this area.

Hi Dan, we live in tiverton and its well worth stopping a couple of nights. The Minnows cc site is right on the banks of the canal turn left out of the gate and walk for about 15 mins you will come to a pub called the globe inn in sampford peverall good beer and good food. The canal goes to tiverton and there is a horse drawn barge which goes along the towpath on trips from the canal basin.

Be aware that there can be considerable traffic noise from the nearby A361. We have stayed there a couple of times and it can be a nuisance sometimes. John W.
