It’s only 18 months over best by date and if the tin has no dents or splits should be fine .The tinned stuff my mother had stored through WW2 was still being used 10 years later and I survived it,now in my 80’s
My father bought a box of Fray Bentos bully beef in about 1980. When he came to the UK, he still had over half a box which he continue to consume with no ill effects. Back in the sixties, we had a large ship wreck not far from us and even years later tins were being washed up on the shore and contents were perfectly edible.
