Hi, are you aware that there is a problem with the diff on some Terracans. MOH, Steve's Terracan started playing up in Italy (with only 6,000 miles on the clock), and after finding some evidence of diff probs on other websites, took it into the dealers on our return who confirmed that there is a problem. Dealers attitude was keep motoring, towing should improve it, but Hyundai UK phoned Steve the next day and immediately offered to fit a new diff. However, they haven't sorted out the problem yet so a new one might only last 3,000 miles. As its not too bad we've agreed to carry on with the one we've got, and have been given an promise by Hyundai UK that as soon as they have modified the diff, we can have a new one fitted, even if it is out of the 5 year guarantee.
Still happy with the Terracan apart from this, it's the dealer we have problems with, and just posting this to advise other Terracan owners of a potential problem.
