Trevor,

We have had Tockfield foam fitted in our last 4 caravans. When we buy a new caravan we take it immediatly to Tockfield and have the foam installed.

We have always been highly satisfied.

The good point about Tockfield is that you can have the foam of your choosing. They do Reflex 400, 500 400/500 and 600. Which foam you choose depends on your body weight and preference of firmness.

My wife has Reflex 500 and i have Reflex 400/500. You can try the different fillings at the factory. They will refoam a double bed with the foam of your choosing. We do not like the knee rolls on the seats so they remove them.

You end up with a very comfortable bespoke seat or bed.

Highley recommended.

I had a coachman done a couple of years back at Tockfield, new foam beds and reupholstered in my own fabric. It took very short while to do, only 3 or 4 days for the upholstery work. The beds were very heavy I must admit, but very comfortable, and the standard of recovering was excellent. Pricey though.

Hi Phil, We had our foam done in another van 10 years ago, thinking it was better to go for the middle quote, it was fine for couple of years then it start to go again, But the foam in our Bailey not too bad at the moment 7 years old as we are keeping the van bit longer, so it make sence to go to Tockfield, So with the guarantee of 7 years and last up to 12/20 years, over the long run it will work out cheaper than keeping replacing it every few years, so will measure the foam over the weekend and see what price thay come up with,

Thanks Trevor

Trevor,

The price will depend on which grade/firmness of foam you have installed. They have a C.L. at the factory with electric hook ups, loos and showers. You can stay overnight free of charge. The factory is in the country not on an industrial estate.

Excellent pub with good food just up the road,
